Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati requires RESEARCH NURSE to work in a BIRAC-DBT sponsored project "To establish a ready network of clinical trial units across the National Cancer Grid to promote multi-centric collaborative research in the field of drug and device development" at Dr B. Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati. The positions are temporary and on contractual basis.

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc Nursing with minimum 2 years of working experience with similar Responsibility
Age: To be decided by selection Committee
Job Responsibilities: Patient care, administers medications and performs patient assessments, determine presence of side effects notifies Principle Investigator. Provides patient education and medical information to study patients.
Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable solely based on the performance till co-terminus with project. The candidate will have NO right to claim for permanent employment under DBT I BBCI or for continuation of his / her services in any other project. Interested eligible candidates may report for walk-in-interview with complete bio-data supported by attested copies of certificates and other testimonials before the Selection Committee on the dates & times given below.

The candidates must reach the venue of Interview at least half an hour prior to commencement of the interview.
All the original testimonials relating to age, educational qualification, other qualification, experience, last working month's pay slip, NOC (where applicable) etc. should be brought for necessary verification at the time of interview / competency test.
Candidates, who are serving under Central / State Government / Public Authority, must produce permission letter from their present employer for appearing in the interview.
The candidates shall also carry a set of photocopy of the documents / certificates (self-attested) which will be retained by the Document Verification Team on the date of competency test / interview.
The decision of the Institute as to eligibility or otherwise of a candidate will be final
The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding as regards the modalities of selection.
Selected candidate / appointee will not have any claim for regular appointment at BBCI.
No TA/DA would be paid for appearing in the interview.
