Regional News Unit, All India Radio, Guwahati is inviting applications from eligible candidates of Indian origin who are residing in Guwahati Municipal Area for empanelment of Casual Editor(CE) and Casual News reader- cum Translator (CNRT).
1. Name of the Post: Casual Editor (CE)
Essential Qualification:
1. Graduation from a recognized University.
2. Degree/ PG Diploma in Journalism with a duration of at least one year from a recognized University/Institution or 5-years experience in reporting/ editing work in print/electronic media
3. Proficiency in the Assamese language.
Desirable Qualification:
1. Experience of journalistic work in Radio/TV (for Degree or Diploma holders in journalism-reference clause 01(2).
2. Knowledge of basic computer applications.
2. Name of the Post: Casual News Reader-cum-Translator (CNRT)
Essential Qualification:
1. Graduate of a recognized University
2. Proficiency in Assamese language
3. Having a voice of good quality suited to broadcasting
Desirable Qualification:
1. Experience of journalistic work in Radio/TV
2. Knowledge of basic computer applications.
